This is kind of a serious question

So I recently was told that child pornography was illegal even if the characters depicted in it are considered fictional. It said it on a site called something like “justice.gov” or something like that. And I need to know from someone I can trust with my life to tell me what it could be actually saying. Because it’s getting me EXTREMELY anxious making me think that I could actually go to jail. So I would really appreciate it everyone could just tell me something to make me feel better. This is very serious.

And even I really don't see why they would even make it illegal to make literal drawings or 3D models of characters who aren't even real. How is a drawing going to hurt anyone? Sure there are going to be people who find it to be disgusting. But I usually those are just people who can be a little over dramatic. I am a very law following person and even though I do enjoy lolicon. I would NEVER support sexual acts to real minors. That shit is disgusting.

What's legal and illegal has nothing to do with what is right and what is wrong or even with what people think is right or wrong. It's all about how much control our bosses have over us. Law is the violence of the state. Crime is the violence of the individual.

>justice.gov
>wanting to jail people because of their tastes

Sounds about right, that's what happens when a mob isn't stopped, they get the freedom to oppress others' own freedom lmao.

I'll spare everyone from my own views and some explanations for such things though. But in total seriousness, unless you live in Great Britain there's nothing to fear.

In the US there is a line or two from a law in the early 0's that gets thrown around as outlawing drawn underage porn. The thing that is left out in that is that most of that law, including those specific lines, was later declared unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court. So even if someone says that XYZ law outlaws it in the US, most likely they are says so based on outdated information.

Federally, the only "fictional" content that is illegal, would be drawings/3D renders that are traced/inspired by actual child porn images.

post #107982 and others of the same character, are "borderline" legal. Because Laura B never actually got naked in her photos, it is not legally considered CP (or a part of a CP set.)

Shadman's drawings of Keemstar's daughter, while distasteful, are also legal.

HOWEVER, what really matters is the laws of the state where you live.

See HERE for an easy indication of the legality in your state. Do note however, that the chart may be outdated.

Where I live, Drawn and 3D content are fully legal (unless it is indistinguishable from a real photo/video), but cub content remains illegal because it falls under the laws against bestiality.

But don't think that just because everything is legal in your state, that they'll let you live peacefully... You might escape a CP charge but you could be charged under obscenity laws...

If you do get arrested, never take the plea deal and always fight it.

"You were caught with 100 loli images, if you take the deal and plead guilty, we'll get you a lessened sentence"
OK
"As you see Your Honor, the defendant has pled guilty of possession of 100 images of child pornography and has accepted the reduced sentence of 10 years"
